AL Maritime is a business unit within GM&T (Global Markets & Technologies). The activity is articulated around four main businesses: Global Helium, Global Rare Gases, Offshore Energies and Maritime Cryogenic Supply. It is a very international environment, managing multiple locations worldwide.

As part of AL Maritime, Cryogenic Tank Services (CTS) is a Malaysian entity which was acquired in 2015. CTS specializes in cryogenic tank and equipment rental for the offshore and maritime industries as well as in cryogenic transport of molecules, and provides a full range of repair and testing services.

The Mechanical Engineer assists the Mechanical Engineering Manager in various aspects he or she is assigned, as directed by the Mech Engineering Manager, to ensure a successful project outcome is achieved.

How will you CONTRIBUTE and GROW?

Demonstrate a commitment to safety at all times.

Able to read and understand all related project specifications and requirements.

Prepare/check design documents as directed

Developing conceptual routing and piping layout

Check vendor quotations and designs for compliance to the project specifications.

Seek to improve project margins by reducing costs.

Communicate with colleagues and work in a cooperative manner to ensure project success including; Mechanical Engineering Manager, Mechanical Engineer, E&I Lead Engineer, Document Controller, Quality and HSE Manager and Drafting/Designer.

Conform with and abide by all regulations, policies, work procedures, instructions, and safety rules

Are you a MATCH?

• 4+ year Degree in Mechanical Engineering

0- 2 years of work experience, Fresh college graduate acceptable
Preferred Qualifications/Experience
Piping Design using 3D cad softwares
