Job Description

1) Efficiency - Whole plant - Responsible to support troubleshooting and root cause finding activities for M&P, OTR and Utilities Department - Support improvement activities related to Controls and Drive system - Identify critical machine Controls & Drive System upgrade/ spare parts requirement in the plant 2) Digital Services - Whole Plant - To review performance of engineering personnel, prepare Yearly Training Needs Index (TNI) for subordinates and follow-up on the training arrangement, ensure effectiveness of training 3) IPC Management and Cybersecurity - Whole Plant - Responsible for IPC management for the Plant. Run regular checks, preventive measures, and corrective measures on IPCs - Responsible for machines IPC Cybersecurity Protocol and Execute projects or rollouts from Central Engineering. - Ensure reporting/ escalation to Central Engineering is done in timely manner. 4) Engineering Standards - Whole plant - Ensure machines Controls system confirms to Engineering Standards, MES, Regulations and Safety Standards. 5) Training - All C&D specialist and wireman - Responsible in Coaching and development of C&D specialist. - Responsible in Wireman development plan and program. - Centre of Excellence for Controls & Drive system\' 6) Energy - Whole Plant - Support Energy Saving activities through efficient Controls & Drive system 7) Communication and Networking - Whole plant and External - Responsible to maintain and leverage networking among worldwide Continental Tire Plants and Central Engineering in order to share knowledge, lesson learnt, information and escalate arising issues 8) Projects - Whole Plant - Support project execution related to Controls, Drives, and Digital Services. Job Requirements 1) Technical Controls, Drives,IPC management, pneumatic, hydraulic and mechanical knowledge /reading of drawings - Expert 2) Manufacturing knowledge, all related medium and controls - Advanced 3) English/Bahasa Malaysia - oral comprehension- ability to listen and understand idea presented in spoken or writen - Advanced 4) MS-Office software - Advanced 5) Maintenance methods, tools and processes (TPM, Preventive and predictive maintenance, root cause analysis tools) - Advanced 6) Project Management - Advanced 7) People management - Advanced 8) Knowledge and know how in Manufacuring Suites - Advanced 9) Siemens programming and PLC system - Expert 10) Digital Services - Advanced
