Your new company:
This company is a large air filter manufacturer which focuses on Manufacturing, International Trading, Domestic Wholesaling and Distribution in the Automotive Industry around the world.
What you will be responsible for:
- To ensure smooth operation of Purchasing responsibilities
- To ensure all the Purchase Requisitions & subsequent POs are issued and verified for accuracy
- To check, negotiate pricing and verify stock position with External Providers
- To follow up on the deliveries of all purchases ordered
- To assist Managing Director in the selection of External Providers
- To inform accounts to proceed for payment to External Providers
- To ensure list of Approved External Providers is up to date
- To comply with legal and other requirements applicable to the organization.
- To implement all policies, activities, procedures, instructions as relevant and required by ISO 9001.
- Proper record keeping
- Perform other duties that may be assigned by Management whenever necessary
- To negotiate with External Providers on terms & conditions where necessary;
- To evaluate and recommend the appointment of External Providers
- Annual evaluation of External Providers
- Minimum Diploma & 5 years experience in related field
- Basic Computer skills - Microsoft Office
- Excellent negotiation and follow up skills
