Job Description


Our team in Shah Alam currently has an opening for a Planning and Procurement Specialist YOUR ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES Handling purchase order processing and coordinating local, import and export shipments. Preparing shipping documents for the import/export shipments (Invoice/ Packing List/Insurance/COA/SDS/PDS) for booking purpose. Collaborate with warehouse department to ensure on time and effective receiving. Attending to suppliers enquiries through emails and telephone calls. (PO, Delivery status, products documents (BL,PDS/SDS/HALAL/ROSH,Etc) Handle and feedback to suppliers such as goods returns, late delivery, damaged goods upon receiving, wrong delivery, wrong documents COA, etc. Work closely with inventory planner on forecasting and all incoming shipments to ensure all customers order has fulfill. To inform warehouse for the goods receiving for those urgent shipments and coordinate accordingly. Provide sales administrative support to the sales teams. (provide them the latest inventory status, incoming shipment status, urgent delivery status, latest inventory costing, export freight cost upon request.) Complete the weekly sales closing and monthly sales closing on time. And the accuracy of all Invoicing and Credit Note received. Adhere to product stewardship procedures, applicable local regulatory, and environmental health and safety requirements. Responsible to compile stock lists and PO listing on weekly /monthly basis as per request by Business Manager and internal affiliate. Handles in the best interest of supplier, customer and company. Attends, participates, and conducts meetings including cross-functional meetings when needed. Supports and participates in cross-functional projects when assigned/appropriate. Ensures and maintains good housekeeping. Related duties other than those stipulated above will be assigned as and when required from time to time. YOUR PROFILE Degree/Diploma in Supply Chain/Inventory/Purchasing/Business Administration or equivalent. Preferably 1-3 years of professional experience in supply chain, inventory management or purchasing in a company. SAP Knowledge Good spoken and written English.
