Manage, mentor and develop a diverse team of executives, line leader, quality assurance team, technicians, and support staff.
Optimize manufacturing workflows, identify bottlenecks, and introduce solutions to enhance efficiency, all the while upholding high standards of quality and safety.
Effectively oversee and allocate resources, including equipment, materials, and manpower, to ensure the fulfillment of production schedules and meet customer demands.
Manage plant budgets, monitor expenditures, and allocate resources strategically to achieve operational objectives within the financial constraints.
Delegate responsibilities to the maintenance team to ensure prompt resolution of any equipment downtime issues.
Participate in new product development, discussion, and trial runs of new products, collaborating with R&D teams and production to ensure equipment feasibility and implementation.
Participate in meetings with department heads and cross-functional teams to tackle operational challenges and address issues for resolution.
Conduct briefings and meetings with various departments to discuss and troubleshoot daily work-related challenges and issues related to production and operations.
Job Requirements:
Degree in Engineering, Food Manufacturing or equivalent.
At least 10 years of experience in managing food processing plants.
Strong leadership skills and communication skills.
Possess analytical skills with a problem-solving attitude.
Proficiency in handling details, well organized and addressing time-sensitive matters.
Effective decision-making abilities and adept handling of high-pressure situations.
Plan and execute the design of a new plant and production layout, including the seamless integration of new production lines.
