Job Description

The Plant Manager oversees production to ensure cargo readiness, supports management with operational tasks, ensures steam facilities comply with DOSH regulations and audit standards, and offers engineering expertise for troubleshooting and preventive maintenance.1. Align production processes with cargo readiness schedules to meet shipment timelines.2. Plan and monitor feedstock and inventory levels to meet production needs.3. Carry out daily operational planning, coordination, and strategy implementation; oversee production to maintain efficiency and productivity.4. Ensure compliance with legal requirements, particularly DOSH regulations, for steam facilities and activities; participate in audits to uphold safety and operational standards.5. Identify and resolve production and steam facility issues, providing engineering solutions to operational challenges.6. Supervise machinery and equipment maintenance, coordinating with the maintenance team to ensure timely inspections and repairs.7. Uphold strict quality control standards throughout the production process.8. Collaborate with the quality assurance team to address and resolve quality-related concerns.Requirements1. A Bachelor's degree in Science, Engineering (preferably with a steam engineering background), or a related field.2. At least 2 years of experience in a manufacturing or production setting, ideally within the palm oil industry.3. Strong problem-solving abilities and sound decision-making skills.4. Proficiency in production management software and MS Office applications.5. Familiarity with health, safety, and environmental regulations, including DOSH and DOE standards.6. Effective communication and interpersonal skills.7. Capability to perform well under pressure and meet tight deadlines.8. A strong dedication to maintaining quality and safety standards.
