Key responsibilities

Execute Strategy, Vision & Goals:

  • Continually review and adjust the strategy in line with internal and external changes - collaborating across Quality, Engineering, Supply Chain, Customer Care, Finance and Commercial functions to ensure full alignment.
  • Share vision and learnings across all sites and technologies
  • Undertake competitive benchmarking assessment to ensure targets and capabilities are continually challenged.
  • Establish and monitor performance targets in People, Quality, Cost and Delivery that deliver against the technology strategy
  • Ensure that all activities are planned to deliver the strategy on time in line with budget and manufacturing KPIs
  • Lead the technology \'path to True Lean\' by demonstrating the behavioural requirements that are required to support the Kerry Production System (KPS) including:
  • Take ownership of KPS maturity across the technology
  • Confirm standardised processes
  • Demand factual data and insist that problems are made visible
  • Lead 8-Step thinking through superior panel review capability
  • Keep abreast of industry, market and competitor changes to ensure Kerry\'s competitive strategy adapts appropriately
Capacity Maximisation:
  • Align Manufacturing and Supply Chain resources to the future plans of the business
  • Understand capacity and supply constraints; evolve strategies to support the development of the business accordingly
  • Ensure consistency of supply in line with customer requirements and work with commercial to agree supply plans in line with demand forecast
  • Develop and recommend business case to support investment projects
  • Accountable for management of capital budget and return on business case investment to meet the need for development of new products as defined through innovation & NPD based on market need
Technology Development:
  • Promote, support and work closely with technology and commercial functions to develop new products, processes and technologies and other initiatives in line with Kerry Innovation programme
  • Ensure innovation of both new and existing products and process development are supported and developed within all sites
  • Through analysis of Site Performance Data, identify performance gaps, trends and improvement opportunities. Support, coach and hold to account Plant Managers to bridge gaps in performance.
Organisational Development:
  • Role model people management & development, partnering with HR to build high performing teams and build an organisation fit and flexible for the future / evolving business requirements.
  • Lead the Plant Managers to ensure they are engaged and high performing, whilst supporting them in their personal and professional development. Build trust through the skilled application of people management processes and open two-way communication.
  • Identify those who have the interest and ability to progress into bigger or different roles and facilitate this through agreed procedures
  • Proactively identify and grow talent to support local sustainable succession planning for Operations in the SEA region.
Qualifications and skills
  • Minimum Third Level qualification in Operational Management or Business / Supply Chain Leadership
  • Minimum 10 years\' experience in Manufacturing, preferably with Food / Ingredients background, with a minimum of 5 years\' experience at management level
  • Demonstrable experience in delivering major capital programmes in line with key expectations
  • Experienced in financial accountability and ROI model
  • Strong Project Management skills
  • Proven ability to manage large-scale site development
  • Knowledge of SAP an advantage
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both written and verbal, with a variety of internal / external stakeholders in English
