Job Description
This role is holding an important role within Purchasing function for the plant, responsible to ensure the purchasing performance achieved the cost effective level.
You are responsible to:
- Oversee all the purchasing activities in the plant.
- Cost savings
- Optimize sourcing methods
- Ensure all the new sourcing activities are compliant.
- Support the plant for the ISO certification process for purchasing matters.
- Solve the logistics, quality or service issue if necessary
- Working closely with all the plant departments and build a strong stakeholder relationships.
- Bachelor\'s Degree in Business/Engineering/Supply Chain or any related studies.
- 10 years\' experience in automotive industry, purchasing experience
- Technical competencies: request for quotation process, negotiation, risk management, automotive development process, project management
- Behavioral competencies: result oriented, open minded, adaptability, team player, resilient.
- Willing to work based in Kedah
