Responsibilities:
This role is to lead a team with all the policy administration functions including plan automation, group setup, billing, commission, credit control and eligibility, to ensure the accurate and timely policy inception/renewal processes for the Asia Pacific Global Health Benefits business.
The position holder will continuously enhance work processes and will be involved in relevant projects in order to improve Operational Excellence and to meet all the SLAs (Service Level Agreement).
Serve as a single point of contact for client base to manage accounts and develop action plans for improvement
Regularly meet with commercial team for client onboarding solution designs
Monitor Performance Guarantees to minimize financial impacts, particularly during business peak season from November to February
Monitor team members\' key performance metrics and take actions to improve continually
Build & maintain good relationships with relevant functions, clients, brokers and colleagues
Host regular meetings with a team and provide proactive feedback to team members
Bachelor\'s or equivalent degree preferred
5+ years of experience in benefits and claims administration with 3+ years of people management experience
Preferably insurance, finance or data analytics background
Strong interpersonal skills with great verbal and written communication ability to for internal and external clients
Strong customer focus with ability to identify and solve problems
Ability to work under own initiative(s) and to be proactive in recommending and implementing process improvements
Ability to organize, prioritize and manage workflow to meet individual\'s and team\'s goals and requirements
Ability to exercise sound judgment
