Role Overview

Oxydata Software Sdn Bhd, a 100% Malaysian-owned IT company established in 2006, is a trusted technology partner specializing in Microsoft, Java, SAP, and Oracle platforms, delivering IT Managed Services, DevOps, Outsourcing, and Enterprise Application Development to drive digital transformation for global clients.


We are seeking a Microsoft Power Platform Developer to join our agile team of six specialists within the Microsoft ecosystem. This role is responsible for architecting, developing, and integrating scalable solutions across the Power Platform and Power BI. You will work closely with business stakeholders, functional consultants, and technical teams to deliver secure, high-performing applications that support internal initiatives and digital transformation programs.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain applications and automations using Power Apps, Power Automate, and Dataverse. Automate and optimise business processes using Power Automate and RPA, integrating with Microsoft 365, Azure, and third-party systems. Architect and implement robust integrations between the Power Platform, Microsoft 365, Azure services, and other business applications. Define and maintain data models leveraging Dataverse, SharePoint, and SQL to ensure data consistency, integrity, and performance. Engage with business and functAional teams to translate complex requirements into clear technical designs and scalable solutions. Collaborate with the Business IT team to build and enhance Power BI dashboards that deliver actionable insights to internal stakeholders. Participate in workshops, POCs, and solution demonstrations as part of Business IT initiatives. Ensure all solutions adhere to security, governance, and compliance standards. Contribute to internal knowledge sharing, best practices, and continuous improvement initiatives within the Microsoft team.

Required Skills & Experience

3-4 years of hands-on development experience with the Microsoft Power Platform. Strong proficiency in Power Apps (Canvas & Model-Driven), Power Automate, and foundational Power BI skills. Practical experience with Power Fx, JavaScript, JSON, and building custom connectors. Solid understanding of Dataverse, integration patterns, and Azure-based integration components. Strong grasp of ALM (Application Lifecycle Management) processes, solution layering, DevOps pipelines, and deployment across Microsoft cloud environments. Excellent communication, analytical, and stakeholder engagement skills. Microsoft certifications (e.g. PL-400, PL-200) are preferred.

Nice to Have

Experience working in a system integration or consulting environment. Exposure to Dynamics 365 applications, Azure Data Factory, Azure Data Lake Gen2, Azure Logic Apps, or Azure Functions.A Familiarity with SQL, Python, or data integration frameworks.
