The PR & Marketing Executive plays a vital role in supporting the overall marketing, branding, and communication strategies of
Chef Wan Group of Restaurants
. This role involves executing campaigns, managing public relations, maintaining brand integrity, and ensuring smooth communication across outlets, departments, and customers.
Key Responsibilities
1. Marketing & Campaign Management
Plan, coordinate, and execute marketing campaigns across all Chef Wan Group brands and outlets.
Manage campaign timelines, deliverables, and budgets under the supervision of the Marketing Director.
Prepare and compile campaign post-mortem reports, including data analysis, ROI tracking, and recommendations for improvement.
Support creative direction for digital and print materials such as posters, menus, signage, and digital screens.
Liaise with vendors, creative agencies, and influencers/KOLs to ensure timely delivery and brand consistency.
Maintain the overall
marketing calendar
to ensure synergy across outlets and festive seasons.
Conduct basic market research and competitor analysis to identify trends and marketing opportunities.
2. Public Relations & Media Engagement
Assist in planning and executing
press conferences, media tastings, and product/outlet launches
.
Prepare internal communications such as memos, announcements, and updates to ensure cross-department alignment.
3. Digital Marketing & Customer Engagement
Attend to
customer inquiries
and feedback via social media, email, and Google platforms.
Support daily
social media content management
, scheduling, and engagement activities.
Coordinate
influencer/KOL collaborations
and track digital campaign performance.
Monitor
online reviews
and brand sentiment across key platforms (Google, Facebook, Instagram, TripAdvisor, etc.).
Set up and monitor
AI Customer Service System
daily to ensure prompt and accurate automated responses.
Prepare monthly customer engagement and sentiment reports for management.
4. Reservation Platform & CRM Management
Oversee daily operations of
TableApps, Google Reservation, and other booking platforms
.
Ensure all information, such as menus, hours, and contact details, is consistently updated.
Support the
Chef Wan Cooks Loyalty Program
and CRM activities, including newsletters, vouchers, and email marketing.
Help track and analyze customer booking patterns and feedback data..
Coordinate with digital partners for reservation system improvements and campaign integrations.
5. Administrative & Operational Support
Handle all
departmental documentation
, filing, and correspondence related to marketing activities.
Prepare
purchase requests, marketing claim forms, and vendor payment submissions
.
Coordinate with outlet teams to ensure campaign materials are distributed, displayed, and compliant with branding standards.
Track
inventory of marketing collaterals
and promotional materials (banners, standees, menus, props, etc.).
Assist in preparing departmental reports, presentations, and proposals for management review.
6. Interdepartmental Coordination & Team Collaboration
Liaise closely with Operations, Kitchen, HR, and Finance teams to ensure campaign execution runs smoothly.
Provide outlet teams with marketing support and guidance on promotional execution.
Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute creative campaign ideas.
Train and guide interns or junior marketing staff when necessary.
Requirements & Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Mass Communication, Public Relations, or a related field.
Minimum
2 years' experience
in marketing, PR, or brand communications (F&B/hospitality preferred).
Excellent command of
English and Bahasa Malaysia
(both written and spoken).
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and digital tools (Canva, Meta Business Suite, Google Business).
Familiar with CRM systems, social media analytics, and online review platforms.
Detail-oriented, organized, and capable of multitasking in a fast-paced environment.
Positive attitude, team player, and creative problem solver.
