Requirements

  • Bachelor\'s degree in Education or a relevant subject area.
  • Previous teaching experience, preferably in an international school or diverse cultural setting is an added advantage.
  • Knowledge in Cambridge IGCSE or Malaysian National Curriculum is preferred.
  • Strong subject knowledge and understanding of curriculum standards and best practices in teaching.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to adapt to a multicultural environment and support students from diverse backgrounds.
  • Proficiency in using educational technology tools and digital resources for instruction.
Responsibilities

We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Primary/Secondary Teacher to join our international school. As a teacher, you will play a vital role in educating and shaping the lives of our students, helping them develop a strong foundation of knowledge and skills in a global learning environment. Role & responsibilities * Curriculum Delivery:
  • Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons in accordance with the school\'s curriculum framework and standards.
  • Utilize a variety of teaching methods, resources, and technologies to cater to the diverse learning needs of students.
  • Foster critical thinking, creativity, and independent learning among students through innovative instructional strategies.
  • Classroom Management:
  • Create a safe, inclusive, and supportive learning environment that encourages student participation and collaboration.
  • Establish and maintain classroom routines, rules, and expectations to promote positive behavior and mutual respect.
  • Monitor student progress, provide constructive feedback, and implement appropriate interventions to support individual learning needs.
  • Assessment and Reporting:
  • Design and administer formative and summative assessments to evaluate student progress and achievement.
  • Maintain accurate records of student performance, attendance, and behavior, and generate comprehensive progress reports.
  • Conduct parent-teacher conferences and communicate regularly with parents/guardians to discuss student performance and growth.
  • Professional Development and Collaboration:
  • Engage in ongoing professional development activities to enhance teaching skills, subject knowledge, and pedagogical approaches.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and refine curriculum materials, assessments, and instructional strategies.
  • Contribute actively to staff meetings, parent events, and school-wide initiatives aimed at improving teaching and learning outcomes.
  • School Culture and Community Engagement:
  • Embrace and promote the mission, vision, and values of the school, fostering a positive and inclusive school culture.
  • Establish effective communication channels with students, parents/guardians, and colleagues to support student well-being and academic progress.
