We are seeking for a talented Principal Solution Architect - Resiliency to join our team. WHAT YOU WILL DO

• Design the architecture and ensure integrity of an enhanced solution for organizational resilience against IT/cyber disruptions (Resiliency Solution)
• Ensure the architecture design of the Resiliency Solution satisfies the business requirements and is aligned with the IT and security standards
• Drive end-to-end Resiliency Solution architecture implementation and recovery mechanism/process, working closely with project IT teams through the complete program lifecycle: from inception to design, testing, technology selection and deployment
• Ensure program benefits from reusing existing assets
• Communicate the progress updates on the Resiliency Solution architecture to the program stakeholders and provide guidance to IT teams during implementation process

WHAT YOU WILL BE INVOLVED IN

• Define the architecture of the Resiliency Solution that aligns with the DHL Express business and technical requirements ensuring Business Continuity, minimizing complexity and cost, within a diverse business environment.
• Design scalability into the Resiliency Solution architecture to accommodate future solution expansion.
• Ensure architecture design for speedy and seamless reversion to production post execution of a resilience episode
• Identify redundancies in the Resiliency Solution architecture/ IT landscape and propose simplification/improvement strategies
• Assess potential security risks and vulnerabilities in the solution architecture, propose mitigation/ improvement measures.
• Provide impact analysis on potential changes to the Resiliency Solution (e.g., as a result of changes in the business requirement or IT landscape)
• Collaborate with Business and IT representatives to gain understanding of the Business/ IT needs to allow a clear definition and optimization of the Resiliency Solution architecture
• Coordinate and provide technical guidance to cross-functional teams involved in the implementation
• Establish working relationship with other members of program to seek alignment and to leverage opportunities across Express
• Create detailed technical documentation, e.g., guidelines for implementation.

WHAT YOU SHOULD HAVE

• At least 10 years of multi-disciplined IT experience, including at least 5 years of solution architecture responsibilities in large organization with high volume/high transaction environment, preferably in business continuity, resilience, or disaster recovery projects
• University Degree in Computer Science or Information Systems or equivalent
• IT project management experience in large complex projects
• In-depth knowledge of Business Continuity Management, security principles, resilient architecture patterns (e.g., high availability, disaster recovery), infrastructure design, system development, integrity testing, networking, cloud computing.
• Practical experience in designing, implementing, and applying business resilience solutions
• Ability to accomplish work package implementation by considering all areas involved by accurately checking processes and tasks, detect deviations in quality
• Advanced communication skills with technical and non-technical senior management
• Excellent communication, documentation, and presentation skills
• Strong command of English
