Responsibilities

• Work as pre-sale technical support for business in Hong Kong (and other countries in APAC)
• Subsea optical network planning (e.g. Channel planning)
• Analyse customer network, identify customer requirements, support customer solution concept and company strategy
• Promote customer appropriate products and solutions
• Product presentation to internal and external customer
• Analyse, prepare and assist on proposal offer to the customer
• Marketing: increase market awareness on both company and products e.g. presentations/seminars for customers, promotions, advertising)

Qualifications

• Bachelor\'s or Master \'s degree in Telecommunication, Computer Science or Computer Engineering
• Strong background in Optical networking (e.g. DWDM/ROADM) experience as pre-sales engineer is mandatory required
• Minimum 5-year work experience in Optical networking product manufacturer or service provider
• Subsea business experience (especially with Submarine Line Terminal Equipment) is required
• Data networking (e.g. Switch, Router, \xe2\x80\xa6) experience as pre-sales engineer will be an advantage
• Data and Optical networking post-sales service experience will be an advantage
• Fluency in speaking, reading, writing in English
