Job Description

Job Summary

:

The Printing Clerk is responsible for providing administrative support to the printing department. This role involves maintaining records, preparing reports, and coordinating with various departments to ensure smooth production printing operations.

Key Responsibilities

:

1. Record Keeping

:

Maintain accurate production records, including work orders, inventory levels, and production schedules. Update and manage databases with production data and ensure all information is current and accurate.

2. Reporting

:

Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly production reports as required by management. Compile data and generate reports on production performance, efficiency, and other key metrics.

3. Coordination and Communication

:

Communicate with production staff, supervisors, and other departments to relay important information and ensure smooth operations. Coordinate the flow of materials, parts, and finished products between departments.

4. Inventory Management :



Monitor inventory levels and notify relevant personnel when reordering is necessary. Assist in conducting regular inventory audits and reconciliations.

5. Documentation and Filing



Maintain organized files and records of production documents, such as work orders, production schedules, and quality control reports. Ensure all documents are properly filed and easily accessible.

6. Support Production Operations

:

Assist in scheduling production activities and workforce planning. Help identify and troubleshoot production issues, and coordinate with the relevant departments for resolution.

7. Compliance and Safety

:

Ensure all production activities comply with company policies, procedures, and safety regulations. Assist in maintaining a clean and safe working environment.

Qualifications

:

Min SPM/STPM or equivalent Previous experience in a production or manufacturing environment preferred. Strong organizational and time-management skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping and reporting. Basic understanding of production processes.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM1,700.00 - RM1,800.00 per month
