Job Description
1. Process Development & Improvement
Develop, evaluate, and improve fabrication processes such as
cutting, bending, welding, machining, and assembly
. Optimize production flow toreduce cycle time, material waste, and cost
. Implementcontinuous improvement initiatives
(Lean, Kaizen, 5S, Six Sigma).2. Production Support
Provide technical support to production teams to resolve
process-related issues
. Troubleshoot problems related toquality defects, equipment performance, or material usage
. Assist in new product introduction (NPI) andprocess validation
.3. Quality & Compliance
Ensure processes comply with
ISO 9001, customer specifications, and internal quality standards
. Participate inroot cause analysis
and corrective/preventive actions (CAPA). Work closely with QA/QC to improvefirst-pass yield and defect reduction
.4. Documentation & Standardization
Prepare and maintain
work instructions, SOPs, process flow charts, and control plans
. Establish standard cycle times andprocess parameters
. Support engineering change notices (ECN/ECR).5. Equipment & Tooling
Evaluate, select, and support
fabrication machines and tooling
(CNC, press brake, laser cutting, welding fixtures). Work with maintenance to improvemachine efficiency and uptime
. Support commissioning and qualification of new equipment.6. Cost & Efficiency Control
Analyze production costs and propose
cost-saving measures
. Improve material utilization andscrap reduction
. Support productivity improvement and manpower optimization.7. Cross-Functional Collaboration
Coordinate with
Production, Quality, Maintenance, Purchasing, and Design Engineering
. Support suppliers and subcontractors onprocess capability and quality
. Assist sales or project teams intechnical feasibility reviews
.8. Safety & Environmental Compliance
Ensure processes comply with
safety regulations and environmental standards
. Identify process-related safety risks and recommend improvements. Support implementation ofHSE and 5S practices
.Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: RM3,500.00 - RM4,500.00 per month
Work Location: In person
