Process Engineer

Bachelor's Degree Engineering (Mechanical/Mechatronics/Electrical & Electronic) or equivalent.

Experience in Food industries/medical/clean room. At least 2 - 3 year experience.

Required skill (s) : MS Excel, AutoCad.

Roles and Responsibilities:

1. Provide Engineering support primarily to Production, to other departments and to the company as a whole.

2. Take ownership of Process. Ensure that all Processes are documented in Standard Operation Procedures (SOP) and/or simplified into Work Instruction (WI) for operator use.

3. Evaluate or buy off new process/material/ packaging introduced by R&D. When R&D introduces a New Product without a manufacturing process, develop the new Manufacturing Process, buy off with a proper data and then document into SOP.

4. Take ownership of Product. Ensure that all Products are covered by accurate Bill Of Material (BOM). Ensure that all Product Packaging is documented under Packing Advise.

5. Ensure that all Process Change are captured under Change Notification (CN). Change Notification (CN) is to be signed off by all relevant stakeholders.

6. Observe that day-to-day Operations. Pursue Cost Down, Cost Avoidance, Productivity Improvement projects t help bring down the Product Cost per unit.

7. Product Quality is paramount to maintaining the company brand image in the markets. Pursue Quality Improvement projects to help to improve the product quality without adding the product cost.

8. Assist the Maintenance Department to trouble-shoot and resolve serious machine problems that the refine technicians cannot resolved on their own and handles process related problems by doing analysis and implement improvement action while communicate with all of the team members (Maintenance/QA/R&D/Production).

9. To take ownership and responsibility for food safety and its non-compliance challenges.

Pay: RM3,400.00 - RM3,700.00 per month
