The Process Engineer is responsible for delivering and sustaining good quality connectors to achieve high productivity with zero defects. This position will be lead the improvement and debug of matured & new product issues, coordinating with the transfer & design team.
The leadership of projects on product transfers, adding capacity, new tooling/jig and qualification.
What You Will Do
Mass production assembly process efficiency & quality continual improvement by individuals and teams
Lead in analyzing and identifying continuous improvement opportunities to increase efficiency, reduce scrap and maintain product quality
Deal with customer complaints with MQA engineer and provide short & long-term terms correct action and preventive action
Troubleshooting and tooling/jig maintenance responsibilities clearly and concisely
Initiate all relation processes and products for improvements by individuals or teams
Work with vendors on assembly fixtures design and make purchasing plans
Purchase and manage tooling spares according to budget without sacrificing product quality
Led and qualified any new product transfer
Make and release related documents for production such as PFMEA, Flow Chart, PWI & Tooling List, Spare part List, Fixture GR&R. CPK & SPC study
Train engineers & technicians with good work methods and connector assembly technology knowledge
Support the company's initiatives on RBA, IATF 16949, ISO9001/45001, TQM, Six Sigma, Kaizen etc.
Who You Are
Bachelor's Degree in mechanics or electronics Engineering/Manufacturing with proven experience in manufacturing engineering
Similar experience working as an Equipment/Process Engineer who is able to take care of surface-mount technology (SMT), soldering and reflow oven machines processes
Able to read drawings and perform calculations using shop math (trigonometry/geometry) to determine angles, bolt circles, hole opening position, flat pattern development, bend radius, and any other calculations needed to build a tool
Proficient with manufacturing design software (Siemens NX, CAD/CAM, SolidWorks, etc.)
Knowledge of Process characteristics about Man, Material & Machine
Time management and analysis skills
Good communication and organization, planning and analytical abilities
Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving ability are required
Able to handle multitasking, prioritizing and teamwork skills
Effective skill in establishing and maintaining working relationships with peers and cross-functional teams
Fluent English language skills
