Job Summary:

The Production Engineer is responsible for planning, coordinating, and improving manufacturing processes to ensure efficient production, consistent quality, and cost-effective operations while meeting safety and delivery requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

Plan and monitor daily production activities to meet output, quality, and delivery targets. Analyze and improve production processes, workflow, and layout to enhance efficiency and reduce waste. Troubleshoot production issues, identify root causes, and implement corrective and preventive actions. Work closely with quality, maintenance, and engineering teams to ensure smooth production operations. Prepare and update standard operating procedures (SOPs), work instructions, and process documentation. Monitor machine performance, downtime, and yield, and drive continuous improvement initiatives (e.g. Kaizen, Lean). Support new product introduction (NPI), process trials, and mass production ramp-up. Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and environmental standards. Provide technical guidance and training to operators and technicians.

Requirements & Skills:

Diploma or Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Manufacturing, Industrial, or related field). 2-3 years of experience in manufacturing or production engineering is preferred. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and process improvement skills. Familiar with production KPIs, Lean manufacturing, and basic quality tools. Good communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally. Willing to work in a fast-paced production environment and support shift operations if required.
