Support the production team by aiding in plant upgrades, modifications, and both preventive and corrective maintenance activities.
Work closely with the Department Head to implement and maintain 5S, HACCP, FSMS, EMS, and safety protocols within the department.
Maintain and improve the overall condition of the plant to minimize downtime and breakdowns.
Lead the maintenance team and contractors to efficiently execute plant projects.
Assist the production team in providing training on plant operation, maintenance procedures, and troubleshooting techniques.
Plan and organize maintenance supervisor duties and schedules to ensure effective execution of preventive maintenance programs.
Supervise and enforce safety regulations to uphold a secure working environment within the plant.
Ensure adherence to food hygiene and safety programs, including monitoring process control parameters and addressing any non-conformances or potential safety hazards promptly.
Job Requirements:
Candidates should hold at least a Bachelors Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, or Professional Degree in fields such as Food Science/Technology, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Material Science Engineering, or Bioengineering/Biomedical Engineering.
Proficiency in Bahasa Malaysia, English, and Mandarin languages is required.
A minimum of 2 years of experience in the Food/Chemical/Oil & Fats or Oleo Chemical processing industry is necessary for this role.
Knowledge of food safety or food technology would be an added advantage.
