We are seeking for an experienced and performance driven Process Lead to join our Operations team, based in Seremban, Negeri Sembilan.

As part of this team, you will have the opportunity to support Shift Supervisor in managing, monitoring, operating & controlling the Cast Leaf overall operations. You will have the exposure in driving Continuous Improvement (CI) initiatives, developing, and conducting training.

Responsibilities
Executes and leads the processes for eliminating losses by effective problem solving and process control to support in delivering business result of the assigned CC line and fully applying the Integrated Operating System (IOS) and PMI standards and policies.

Acts as the owner of (a) Center Line, (b) Change Over, (c) Change Management Daily Management System (DMS)s and the owner of the integrity of the Line Event Data System, and Loss Tree. Acts as the process expert in problem solving and on floor troubleshooting. Build the capability of Line Structure and Line Teams the DMSs & Tools and role model in following Run to Target routines.

Ensure full compliance with local legislation, company policies and practices and the IMS. Adhere to all Environment, and Health, Safety, and Security rules, policies, and practices by applying and ensuring workplace and other employee in compliance with norms by local regulation. Execute weekly DMSs health checks to identify gaps and constraints in the organization and implement appropriate countermeasures accordingly.

QMS Compliance: Ensures compliance to all PMI and Legal standards and guidelines related to Quality of incoming materials, SFGs and FGs in line with the QMS.

Ensuring ownership of quality by focusing on quality at the source. Routine checks are done timely and efficiently, QFs and QIs are timely raised and addressed.

Analysis and continuous improvement (IPS/UPS) towards elimination of potential quality losses
Participates on setting the 24 hours direction for the CC line(s) during the Daily Direction Setting (DDS) and is actively involved in the execution of the daily plan.

Provides data during the DDS meeting related to the line event data system. Responsible for following up Center Line, Change Over and the use and quality of IPS/UPS tools.

Provides data with corresponding analysis during DDS meeting and investigates losses assigned.
Creates and establishes CL targets & limits for the CC line(s). Is responsible to review, validate and update new CL standard of the line(s) in order to meet the business results.

Develops the control strategies to enable operators to respond to out-of-control situations, furthermore, ensures that documentation is in place and used in the line(s) whenever out of limit situations occur. Owns and ensures the DMS is executed as per Standard and provides feedback or input to Regional Governance for improvement items.

Develops and Improves Standards not limited to Daily Management Systems owned as Process Lead.
Leads problem-solving activities using standard problem solving tools such as IPS, 6W2H & UPS to solve the chronic problems on the line(s) in a timely manner.

Drives centerline daily management system and loss elimination processes by applying standard tools according to Integrated Operating System (IOS) standards. As the Owner of Line Event Data Systems, he/she ensures the integrity of the data from his/her lines.

Owns the PR Loss Tree and responsible in building an accurate data and information for the Line Structure action planning.

Responsible in building capability of the LS and Team on PR Loss Tree and Reliability Engineering tools.
Creates and establishes changeover standards for all appropriate SKUs in the line(s). Reviews changeover critiques and coaches the team to identify and implement improvement opportunities to achieve RCO success criteria\'s and standards.

Leads and participates actively in the Rapid Changeover events to identify additional opportunities for change over process optimization.

Builds the capability of team on process failures technical troubleshooting and mastery of process transformation through coaching and delivering on the job training.

Build the capability of LS and Line Team in the effective use of IPS/UPS and Work Point Analysis (WPA) tools
Leads change management processes including benchmarking and reapplication activities across appropriate production lines, business units and factory.

Essential Skills and competencies:
  • At least 3 years of relevant working experience in production and process capacity in manufacturing environment with people management skills
  • Possess forklift driving and analytical skills
  • Good communication skills in both verbal and written
  • Computer savvy and good knowledge in SPC
  • Demonstrates a strong curiosity to learn, sense of urgency, agility and a genuine commitment to revolutionizing the industry
  • Hold at least a Diploma or Degree in any engineering principle
