Position Title Process Specialist (Perak)
Industry Manufacturing/Production
Primary Functions

1. Responsible for the supervising of his group members for the proper daily operation of the plant.

2. Ensure all processes are operated safely and according to documented procedures.

Duty & Responsibilities

1. To maintain discipline, lead and supervise plant technicians in ensuring efficient plant operations

2. Ensure that production output and yield is achieved as per given production plan

3. Co-ordinate, monitor, troubleshoot and control to ensure that all operating and quality parameters are within specifications.

4. Monitor energy and processing material consumption to ensure that they are within the operating standards

5. Ensure all operations are in accordance to Authorised Food Safety and Operational Procedures

6. Ensure proper handling and taking over of shift.

7. Co-ordinate and ensure timely execution of all preventive maintenance activities.

8. Practice good and regular housekeeping in the work area.

9 Prepare daily operation report.

10. Arrange and authorise overtime work schedule.

11. Ensuring that all work activities are complying to all risk control measures and adhere to safe work procedure
according to WSH (Risk Management) requirements.

12. Conduct performance appraisal.

13. Recommend promotion and disciplinary actions for plant technician/s.

14. Disseminate and explain management information to plant technicians.

15. Conduct on-the-job training for plant technicians.

16. To perform any ad-hoc duties assigned by superior/s

OSH Responsibilities

1. Comply with the relevant roles and responsibilities in the safety and health management system.

2. Supervise processes to ensure operations are in accordance to operating procedures, process safety information
(where applicable) and safe work practices.

3. Participate in relevant safety and health programs, trainings and initiatives.

4. Report safety and health incidents and accidents.

5. Maintain good housekeeping and 5S in the work area.

OSH Authorities

1. To act on behalf of superior/s to fulfil any delegated task/s.

2. To delegate task/s to his/her subordinates.

3. To control the work environment, facilities, equipment, processes, work activities and workers within his/her charge.

4. To stop any unsafe work or negligent act that may endanger personnel

5. To recommend necessary actions against any S&H violations.

6. To feedback concerns and areas for improvements
Salary 6000~7000 (RM)
Location Perak
Requirements \xe2\x9c\x93Minimum SPM Level or equivalent

\xe2\x9c\x93Certificate in Supervision. Added advantage for those with relevant technical certification, eg Chemical Process Technology

\xe2\x9c\x932~3years work experience in process plant. With good and sound knowledge on the the plant processes and operation
