-Under general supervision / broad direction, this role is responsible for supplier contracting activities

-Analyzes data and works with internal stakeholders to identify and execute contracts for suppliers utilizing the Halliburton Contract Management system (i.e. SAP Ariba Contract Management)

-Establishes and manages supplier contract priorities based on stakeholder feedback and business needs

-Ensures adherence to Halliburton supplier contracting policies and work methods also document retention policies

-Acts as liaison between stakeholders, internal departments, and suppliers

-Defines appropriate commercial terms based on stakeholder input and drafts commercial language that mitigates risk in supplier relationships through effective contracts

-Provides updates and reports out contract status to stakeholders and management on a regular basis

Job Requirement:

-Skills are typically acquired through completion of an undergraduate degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering or similar discipline (legal background will be a plus)

-A minimum of 2 years of procurement/ sourcing related experience with minimum 1 year of experience with contracting processes, methods, and policies

-Experience with SAP Ariba Contract Management is preferred

-Familiar with Purchase-to -Pay process transformation, supplier relationship management including contract management and spend management solutions will be a plus

-Ability to effectively communicate with internal stakeholders and suppliers via strong written and verbal communication skills
