Responsibilities

• Responsible for sourcing for both local and overseas suppliers and purchasing activities.
• Be updated with market information, i.e. price trend and news that significantly affects frequently used raw material in order to have effective pricing negotiation with suppliers.
• Track and ensure all oversea and local shipment arrive on time to ensure no supply disruption to production.
• Monitor and co-ordinate shipping documents with shipping agents, ensure all necessary imports documents are received timely for clearance. Maintain a proper filing system for all shipping docs.
• Perform price comparison based on quotation received from vendors.
• Issue Purchasing Orders (PO) based on purchasing requisition submitted by warehouse.
• Liaise and negotiate with vendors on price and payment terms.
• Handle documentation matching (Invoice, Delivery Order (DO) and Purchasing Order (PO)).
• Follow up on payment with Accounting Department.
• Liaise with vendors and warehouses' person in charge on deliveries based on end-user requirement.
• Any other duties assigned from time to time by Management.
• Will work under the company Janamuda Sdn. Bhd.
