While our main operations are based in the U.S., we are expanding in Malaysia and are offering internship opportunities for local students to gain practical experience in procurement and purchasing within a global business environment.
We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented
Procurement Intern
to join our team. This internship will provide hands-on exposure to sourcing, vendor management, purchase order processing, and supply chain coordination. The role is ideal for students interested in developing procurement and business operational skills.
This role requires a responsible and professional attitude, with a commitment to full workday participation during working hours.
Responsibilities
Assist in sourcing and evaluating suppliers from China and other Southeast Asian markets
Support purchase order creation, tracking, and documentation
Communicate and negotiate pricing and delivery terms with regional vendors
Coordinate with internal teams to fulfill material and service requirements
Monitor order status and delivery schedules to ensure timely procurement
Maintain accurate procurement records and vendor information
Disable virtual background screens during all online meetings to maintain professionalism
Provide clear and transparent updates on vendor progress during team meetings as required
Communicate responsibly and professionally, always prioritizing the company's interests and maintaining impartiality in vendor relations
Demonstrate professionalism, responsibility, and strong work ethic throughout the internship
Requirements
Currently pursuing a Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Logistics, or related fields
Strong verbal and written communication skills in English
Basic to intermediate proficiency in
Mandarin Chinese
(spoken and written) is required to communicate with vendors in China
Proficient in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets
Detail-oriented, responsible, and eager to learn
Strong sense of discipline and commitment to working regular business hours remotely
Professional communication skills and a proactive approach to learning
Ability to commit to a minimum 3-month internship period, preferably longer
Based in Malaysia and available to work during Malaysia Time (MYT)
Reliable internet connection and ability to work remotely

Duration:
Flexible, preferably 3 months or longer
Work Mode:
Remote / Online with regular virtual meetings
Working Hours:
Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM MYT
Monthly Allowance:
Negotiable, commensurate with experience and skills
Although remote, this role demands full workday commitment and active participation during working hours.
