Job Description

JOB RESPONSIBILTIES:

As a Procurement Intern, you will assist the team with various tasks across the procurement lifecycle. Your primary duties will include:

1. Assist in researching and evaluating potential suppliers based on quality, cost, and capability.

2. Support the creation and processing of purchase orders and requisitions.

3. Sit in on and support contract negotiations to learn how to secure the best value.

4. Collaborate with the warehousing team to help maintain accurate inventory records.

5. Maintain accurate and organized procurement records, contracts, and other documentation.

6. Help track key procurement metrics (e.g., cost savings, supplier performance) and gather data for reports.

7. Conduct basic market analysis to help the team stay informed about industry trends and pricing.

8. Assist in ensuring all purchased goods meet the company's quality standards and specifications.

9. Support the team in addressing and resolving any quality issues with suppliers in a timely manner.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

Currently pursuing a diploma or degree in Mechanical Engineering, Data Analysis, Logistic, Supply Chain and or related field. Basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word. Good attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive data. Willingness to learn and work in a fast-paced environment. Able to commit to the full internship duration. Willing to work at the

HQ located in Puchong (3 mins to One City, USJ).

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM1,000.00 per month
