Responsibilities

We are looking for an energetic and ambitious Regional Procurement Lead with a background in Pharma to lead all procurement activities including pre-qualification, negotiating supplier agreements, preparation of contracts and tender management. Further details as follows:

Supplier Management
\xe2\x97\x8f Source, evaluate and select new suppliers for existing Prescription goods, non-prescription goods and packaging
\xe2\x97\x8f Ongoing supplier management to ensure SLAs and Margin targets are met
\xe2\x97\x8f Continuously update supplier database ensuring lead times, contract terms and inventory availability is up to date.

Quality
\xe2\x97\x8f Implementing methods to inspect, test and evaluate quality of products
\xe2\x97\x8f Ensuring that products adhere to quality standards Regulatory
\xe2\x97\x8f Implementing methods to inspect, test and evaluate products and production equipment
\xe2\x97\x8f Ensuring that products adhere to quality standards Supply Chain
\xe2\x97\x8f Place purchase orders as necessary, ensuring these are received and paid as required
\xe2\x97\x8f Coordinate with forwarders for relevant documents to ensure shipment delivery is on track.
\xe2\x97\x8f To assist superior on other administrative works and support day to day operation work

General
\xe2\x97\x8f Establishing key performance metrics for the Procurement team and ensuring these metrics are consistently smashed
\xe2\x97\x8f Understanding evolving business needs and ensuring the team is well-placed to exceed \xe2\x80\x9ccustomer\xe2\x80\x9d expectations
\xe2\x97\x8f Using new technologies to improve efficiencies and capabilities within the organization
\xe2\x97\x8f Coach, mentor and develop team members
\xe2\x97\x8f Creating policies and procedures for risk management and mitigation
\xe2\x97\x8f Continuous review of performance and future needs to ensure team scales efficiently and effectively

Qualifications
\xe2\x97\x8f Bachelor degree in Pharmacy, Procurement Supply Chain Management or Commerce.
\xe2\x97\x8f 5+ years of experience in Procurement.
\xe2\x97\x8f Must have 3+ years experience within Pharmaceutical industry
\xe2\x97\x8f Startup experience preferred
\xe2\x97\x8f Fluent in English and Bahasa Melayu, both written and verbal.
