$ 12,000.00 (monthly) Permanent contract Full Time Head of Procurement Kemaman Terengganu Malaysian Salary Range RM8000-12000 Permanent Main Duty Head of Procurement is responsible to manage the operation of department in day to day activities in facilitating the procuring activities in compliance with Quality, Environment, Safety and Health Policy, Procedures and Work Instructions. Scope of Work
Perform strategic procurement activities across multiple categories of spend, search for better deals and find more profitable suppliers.
Properly scheduled the procurement plan and responsible for sourcing of equipment, goods and services and managing vendors.
Develop, lead and execute procurement strategies
Track and report key functional metrics to reduce expenses and improve effectiveness
Craft negotiation strategies and close deals with optimal terms
Perform cost and scenario analysis, and benchmarking
Forecast price and market trends to identify changes of balance in buyer-supplier power
Meet cost, productivity, accuracy and timeliness targets
Review the requisition from Users and facilitating for the procuring of requested material or services
Maintain a close and good relationship with the other Head of Department for accurately and timely delivery of material.
Directly responsible to the Operations Manager for the proper discharge of his duties. He may delegate portions of his authority to other qualified personnel, but does not relinquish total responsibility.
Reports to the Operations Manager and is responsible to facilitate the sourcing, procuring and hiring activities within the authorisation limit where specified.
Recommend for hiring, terminate, and promotes all personnel under his jurisdiction to the Operations Manager.
Provide innovative training and develop high performance staff. Supervise, coach and train procurement subordinate
Develop and deliver progress, weekly and monthly reports, proposals, requirements documentation and presentations.
Develop and improve policies and procedures of internal control system
Assist QHSE department on their project reviews. Maintain a high standard of quality control at all times.
Cooperate, understand and follow all company rules and regulations and understanding all company policies, procedures and work instructions which related to the duties follow quality, environment, safety and health system.
Requirement : Bachelor\'s Degree / Diploma in Accounting or Business Studies or relevant fields Minimum 5 - 10 years for Degree; or Minimum 12 years for Diploma Experience and interest in internal and external communications Fluent in English and Malay language Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, and Power Point), Adobe Acrobat, and Social Media web platforms. Possess competent Driving License Requirements
