We are seeking a results-driven Procurement Assistant Manager / Manager to oversee and execute end-to-end procurement functions, including sourcing, supplier management, and inventory coordination. This individual will play a key role in ensuring cost-effective purchasing, vendor compliance, and accurate stock input into the POS system. Reporting to the Finance Manager and Chief Financial Officer (CFO), the ideal candidate must be highly independent, analytical, and proficient in procurement best practices within the F&B industry.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and implement strategic procurement plans to achieve cost savings and operational efficiency.
Identify, evaluate, and onboard reliable suppliers while ensuring adherence to quality and pricing benchmarks.
Negotiate favorable contract terms and pricing structures aligned with company objectives.
Monitor stock levels and coordinate timely procurement to meet operational demands.
Ensure full compliance with internal procurement policies and external regulatory requirements.
Maintain strong vendor relationships, including periodic performance reviews and risk assessments.
Analyze procurement data to identify trends, optimize spending, and recommend improvements.
Collaborate closely with Finance and Operations to ensure alignment between purchasing and business needs.
Accurately input received goods into the POS system, ensuring up-to-date inventory records.
Contribute to the development and refinement of procurement SOPs and vendor management frameworks.
Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Finance, or a related discipline.
Minimum 5 years of procurement experience, preferably within the F&B or retail sector.
Proven negotiation skills and experience in contract and vendor management.
Solid understanding of inventory control processes and procurement planning.
Hands-on experience with ERP and procurement systems (e.g., Microsoft Dynamics 365, POS platforms).
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and drive decision-making.
Self-motivated and capable of working independently with minimal supervision.
Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities.
