Job Description

The Procurement Manager is responsible for developing and executing procurement strategies to ensure cost-effective sourcing of raw materials, packaging, and indirect goods/services. This role ensures supply continuity, quality compliance, and alignment with business objectives.

Strategic Sourcing & Supplier Management

Develop and implement procurement strategies for raw materials, packaging, and indirect spend. Identify, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers to achieve optimal cost, quality, and delivery performance. Build strong supplier relationships and manage performance through KPIs and regular reviews.

Cost Optimization & Budget Control

Drive cost-saving initiatives without compromising quality or service levels. Monitor market trends, commodity pricing, and risk factors to ensure competitive advantage.

Compliance & Risk Management

Ensure adherence to company policies, legal requirements, and sustainability standards. Mitigate supply chain risks through contingency planning and supplier diversification.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

Work closely with all departments to align procurement with business needs.

Data Analysis & Reporting

Maintain accurate procurement records and prepare regular reports on spend, savings, and supplier performance.

Specific requirements for the position

Essential

Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field. Minimum 5-8 years of procurement experience, preferably in FMCG or manufacturing. Strong negotiation, analytical, and stakeholder management skills.
