Thsi role responsible for leading and managing the procurement activities related to network infrastructure and services.
This role plays a crucial part in ensuring the efficient operation and expansion of telecommunications networks through strategic sourcing and supplier management.
Strategic Sourcing: Develop and implement procurement strategies for network equipment, infrastructure, and services to meet operational requirements and business objectives.Supplier Management: Identify, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers to secure favorable terms and conditions, pricing, and service level agreements (SLAs). Manage supplier relationships to ensure quality, reliability, and timely delivery of goods and services.Contract Management: Draft, review, and execute contracts with suppliers, ensuring compliance with company policies and legal requirements. Monitor contract performance and address any issues that may arise during the contract lifecycle.Cost Management: Monitor and control procurement costs, optimizing spending while maintaining quality standards and operational efficiency. Conduct cost analysis and implement cost-saving initiatives where possible.Inventory Management: Oversee inventory levels of network equipment and materials, ensuring adequate stock availability to support network operations. Implement inventory control measures to minimize excess stock and reduce costs.Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams including Network Operations, Engineering, Finance, and Legal departments to align procurement activities with overall business strategies and operational needs.Risk Management: Identify and mitigate procurement risks related to supplier performance, market changes, regulatory compliance, and supply chain disruptions. Bachelor\'s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or a related field.
Proven experience as a Procurement Manager or similar role within the telecommunications industry, specifically focusing on network procurement.
Strong knowledge of network infrastructure and technologies, including routers, switches, cables, and related equipment.
Excellent negotiation, contract management, and supplier relationship management skills.
Proficiency in procurement software and ERP systems. Experience with SAP S/4HANA or similar systems is a plus.
Analytical mindset with the ability to analyze data, identify trends, and make data-driven procurement decisions.
Strong communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams and influence stakeholders.
