Job description

Our client is a multinational company and one of the leading manufacturers in industrial products powering the construction industry globally. They are currently expanding and is looking for experienced supply chain professionals to join them as a Category Manager.
Job Responsibilities
- Develop & implement strategies within the CAPEX category to meet company objectives
- Execute functions related to sourcing, negotiation, category management
- Supplier relationship management
- Develop, implement and maintain risk mitigation plan
- Analzye and manage material cost drivers
- Spend analysis, Cost Optimization and savings initiative for the category
- Improve sustainable and environmentally friendly sourcing
- Conduct supplier audits
- Verify and approve purchasing price of respective material/services with buying team
- Bachelors' Degree in related disciplines in Engineering (mechanical/electrical)
- Minimum 5 years of working experience in a procurement function involving CAPEX projects
- Fluent written and verbal communications in English
- Proven experience in strategic sourcing and category management preferable within manufacturing set ups
