Responsibilities: \xe2\x80\xa2 Responsible to source, negotiate and purchase materials from both local and overseas vendors \xe2\x80\xa2 Evaluate Vendor\xe2\x80\x99s quotations to meet specifications \xe2\x80\xa2 Source, identify and negotiate products at competitive price. \xe2\x80\xa2 In charge of daily operational purchasing needs such as planning, issuing and following up on Purchase Orders delivery and shipment schedules \xe2\x80\xa2 Resolve supply, quality, service and invoicing issues with Vendors \xe2\x80\xa2 Evaluate Supplier\xe2\x80\x99s performance based on quality standards, delivery time & pricing and ensure criterias meet organizational requirements and expectations \xe2\x80\xa2 Responsible for implementing internal procurement strategies to meet high delivery and short lead time requirements \xe2\x80\xa2 Any other ad-hoc duties as assigned Requirements: \xe2\x80\xa2 Bachelor Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Science, Mathematics, Statistics or equivalent. \xe2\x80\xa2 At least 2 years working experience or similar role in manufacturing industry. \xe2\x80\xa2 Good negotiation skills for competitive pricing. \xe2\x80\xa2 Organized and detail oriented, strong planning and prioritization abilities \xe2\x80\xa2 Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks \xe2\x80\xa2 High integrity with good communication skills. \xe2\x80\xa2 Preferable well versed in Autocount Accounting software. \xe2\x80\xa2 Able to converse in English, Bahasa Malaysia, Mandarin
