As a Data Analyst in our Product team, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the trajectory of our products by transforming raw data into meaningful insights. Your work will bridge the gap between numbers and strategy, ensuring that our product decisions are well-informed and data-driven. In this role, you will dive deep into user interactions, market trends, and product performance to uncover opportunities and challenges. Your insights will guide the product development lifecycle, from ideation to launch and iteration. By collaborating closely with product managers, designers, and engineers, you\'ll ensure that our products not only meet the needs of our users but also align with our company\'s overarching goals and vision. Furthermore, you\'ll be tasked with monitoring the health of our products, identifying anomalies, and predicting future trends. Your analytical prowess will provide the product team with a clear understanding of how our users engage with our products, why they behave the way they do, and what we can do to enhance their experience. As the voice of data within the product team, you will champion a culture of data-driven decision-making, fostering an environment where data is not just seen as numbers on a dashboard, but as a valuable tool in crafting exceptional products. Responsibilities: Key Responsibilities: Product Performance Insights: Regularly analyze user behavior and product usage to provide actionable insights that drive product enhancements and optimizations. Feature Impact Analysis: Evaluate the effectiveness of new product features or changes, determining their impact on user engagement, retention, and overall satisfaction. User Journey Mapping: Analyze user flow data to understand how customers interact with the product, identifying pain points and opportunities for improvement. Hypothesis Testing: Collaborate with the product team to design A/B tests and experiments to validate new ideas or features before full-scale implementation. Dashboard Development: Design and maintain product-focused dashboards that provide real-time insights into key performance metrics for the product team and other stakeholders. Collaborative Product Planning: Actively participate in product strategy sessions, bringing data-driven insights to inform roadmap decisions and prioritization. User Segmentation: Use data to segment users based on behavior, demographics, or usage patterns, helping the product team personalize features or marketing efforts. Competitor Benchmarking: Analyze market and competitor data to identify trends and potential areas of product differentiation. Feedback Loop: Establish mechanisms to gather and analyze user feedback, ensuring it\'s integrated into the product development process. Data-Driven Storytelling: Present complex data findings in a clear and compelling manner to non-technical stakeholders, aiding in decision-making. Requirements Educational Background: Bachelor\'s or Master\'s degree in Statistics, Computer Science, Business, Mathematics, Economics, or a related quantitative field. Advanced degrees (e.g., MS, MBA, PhD) are a plus. Technical Proficiency: Strong expertise in SQL for data extraction, manipulation, and analysis. Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Looker, or Power BI. Familiarity with programming languages, especially Python or R, for advanced analytical tasks. Knowledge of statistical methodologies and tools for hypothesis testing, regression analysis, and predictive modeling. Experience with A/B testing platforms and methodologies. Understanding of data warehousing and ETL processes. Experience: Minimum of 3 years in a data analytics role, with a preference for experience in a product-focused environment. Proven track record of leveraging data to drive significant product or business decisions. Experience in working with large datasets and handling data quality issues. Familiarity with the product development lifecycle and agile methodologies. Soft Skills: Excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate complex data findings into clear, actionable insights for non-technical stakeholders. Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities. Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and quality. Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team and build relationships across departments. Proactive and self-driven, with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously. A strong sense of curiosity and a passion for continuous learning in the rapidly evolving field of data analytics. Desirable (but not essential): Experience with user behavior analytics tools such as Mixpanel, Amplitude, or Segment. Knowledge of machine learning algorithms and tools.
