Job Description

Key Responsibilities

Conduct research on market trends, user needs, and competitor products to identify opportunities. Develop creative product concepts, sketches, and prototypes that address both functionality and aesthetics. Create detailed technical drawings, CAD models, and design specifications for production. Collaborate with cross-functional teams (R&D, engineering, marketing, and production) to ensure design feasibility. Test and refine prototypes based on feedback, usability, and performance. Ensure all designs align with brand guidelines, target market, and cost requirements. Prepare presentations, mood boards, and product portfolios for internal reviews and client pitches. Stay updated with the latest materials, technologies, and design trends to bring fresh ideas into the development process.

Requirements & Qualifications

Proven experience in product design or a strong design portfolio. Proficiency in design software (Adobe Creative Suite, SolidWorks, Rhino, AutoCAD, or similar). Strong understanding of design principles, materials, ergonomics, and user-centered design. Creative thinker with excellent problem-solving skills. Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. Strong communication skills to present and explain design ideas effectively.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: RM2,500.00 - RM3,500.00 per month
