1. Drive continuous improvement activities in quality, cycle time, and process improvement to enhance the capability of existing processes and remove waste. 2. Analyze existing process control systems, determine their effectiveness, and drive to improve systems, leading to measurable reduction in waste and variable cost (man, materials). 3. Drive validation plans to ensure robust a comprehensive technical solutions. 4. Supervise Product Development engineers in root cause analysis and problem resolving. 5. Provide technical expertise to the team. 6. Analyze and isolate root causes of process issues within department and implement permanent solutions. 7. Lead the team in new product and process introduction 8. Ensure the team provide timely and accurate technical related responses to internal customers. 9. Ensure accuracy of Product Development procedures and documentation 10. Develop, implement and manage key performance indicators (KPIs) for each area of responsibility. 11. Work as part of Management team to share ideas and improve operation, recommending, supporting and implementing continuous improvement activities and process and procedure improvements to optimize results and improve quality of delivery, in line with company quality standards requirement and customer requirements. 12. Ensure that the function operates in accordance with any health, safety and environmental policies and procedures to ensure the safety and wellbeing of staffs. 13. Hold responsibility for departmental budget, and responsible for achieving budget and forecast. 14. Hire, train, and mentor the department staff. 15. Encouraging a continuous improvement culture in order to develop new work practices, procedures or adoption of new technologies that improve efficiency, effectiveness and cost performance which includes: a) leading and coaching staff to develop systems and process for effective performance; b) Identifying areas for improvement and addressing through selection and implementation of training and development programs. 15. Identify enterprise risk and opportunities management (ERM), coordinate and plan all work related to ERM 16. Promote awareness of ERM through courses, talks or training and prepare risk profile report for Management review 17. Manage and lead the team, ensuring adequate staffing levels, recruitment, training and development, appraisal, attendance, disciplinary issues and daily supervision to maximize efficient productivity
