  • Establishes & controls the regional Point of Sales Tinting (POST) database delivery schedule (Flight Plan) to plan for on time delivery of POST database.
  • Evaluates pigments & tinters used in factory & at point of sales in order to establish optimum selection of material.
  • Execute the established Color management procedures & contribute to the reforms in the area of entire Decorative color management, Colorant management, Colour offer expansion, shade standard maintenance & CaRMA, Mixman III management.
  • Establish and control countries color recipes offers including data base ensuring consistent delivery at POST.
  • Develop cost optimal colour offers for all innovated as well as renovated products.
  • Evaluate new dispensing machines for Regional market acceptance post the global approval
Key Activities
  • Manages a small team comprises of 1 system analyst & 2 lab technicians.
  • Establishes & controls the Regional POST Flight Plan.
  • Controls & plans protocols so that the requirements of the regional POST Flight Plan can be delivered.
  • Establishes & maintains regular contacts with Global DCTG in the area of pigments & control of colour dispersions.
  • Manages global best practice for Asia in the area of POST recipe management using MixMan central recipe management system.
Job Requirement
  • 7+ years of relevant experience
  • Minimum of Diploma or above education level in Chemistry or Science based courses
  • Good communication skills in English
  • Minimum 3 - 5 years\' experience in project management. This should include practical experience of the paint market, management of POST recipe database and implementation of POST strategy.
  • Minimum 4 years working knowledge on tinting machine technology and on paint, colorants & coatings development.
  • Computer skills in Microsoft Access & Excel.
