Job Description

Product Design and Development

1. Study & understand market need for existing product for new market & existing market, new product for the existing market.

2. Develop specification & drawing by conducting design study on possible or proposal of product by Sales Department or by management.

3. Produce prototype and make suitable testing to prove the operational of the new product.

4. Produce protype & make suitable testing to prove the operational of the new product and get the management approval.

5. Propose for type testing at independent lab to complete product validation. Lead and monitor performance of type test.

Product Registration, Product Introduction & Improvement and Engineering Design Technical Support

1. Analyse and make conclusion required product registration by local authority or customer for product to be acknowledged in market or by customer.

2. Install product for field trial and continuously monitor its performance and its test result.

3. Resolve all issues with any customer which arises from field trial and document submitted earlier and follow up for SGP.

Product introduction and improvement to the market

1. Conduct or liaise with principals to run Technical Presentation sessions, seminars or exhibition as organised by Sales and Business Development

2. Prepare technical presentation package on current product and new product in production line

3. Initiate improvement on existing products in order to reduce cost & improve quality

Engineering, Design and Technical Support

1. Review product specification as specified in tender document and propose solution or alternatives

2. Provide technical support as specified in the contract already acquired

3. Resolve technical issues with customer

4. Resolve problem and issue arising from product design.

Product Sourcing

1.Source for meet specification products as inquired by customer or required by tender.

2.Liaise with Sales Department and Business Development Department to check technical specification.

3.Compute and compare project economics of alternative sources and propose options.

4.Source for improved components and technology that can be applied to new product for existing market and new market.

5.Source alternatives components in order to achieve above and multiple sources.

Quality Assurance and Quality Control

Prepare necessary drawing and technical

documents for FAT purposes

ISO and TQM

Systems and Internal Control - develop appropriate systems, procedures and control

5S and Autonomous Maintenance

Effective maintenance of 5S and AM in own area and group area

Other Quality continuous improvement effort

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM2,800.00 - RM3,800.00 per month
