This role would be a contract position with possibility of conversion upon management discretion.

• Ensure product meets yield, OBD and warranty failure rates.
• Continuously embark on initiatives to improve product yield, quality and reliability.
• Solve manufacturing/test/hardware/firmware related issues by using effective RCA methods.
• Provide support to production to ensure continuous manufacturing and shipment.
• Participate actively in new product introduction, including influencing the design of the product by performing DFx evaluations to ensure manufacturability.
• Performs qualification on prototype to characterize new design and ensure that it meets reliability and performance goals.
• Supports and implements the transition of products and manufacturing processes from prototype to full production and through the entire life cycle of the product.
• May direct the work of third party vendors and/or partners to meet contract specified deliverables, performance or business objectives.
• May work with suppliers to ensure achievement of goals for cost, quality and delivery of parts and materials.
• Identifies and manage ERP data such as bill of material.
• Plans, evaluates and recommends technical, quality and cost specifications to meet design and business growth objectives and supply chain optimization. Identifies and qualifies alternative materials when needed.
• Work with Safety and Regulatory Lab to test and qualify existing or new product designs. Troubleshoot and make necessary improvements to ensure the product meets the necessary safety and EMC requirements.
• Perform failure analysis on Out of Box defects and warranty failures and make the necessary improvements to enhance the quality and reliability of the product.
• Provides product knowledge training to APTE and MS.

Job Qualifications

• Bachelors or Master Degree in Electrical, Electronics, Telecommunications, Power Electronics, Mechatronics, Microelectronics or similar discipline.
• Minimum 4 years of relevant experience.
• Knowledge in analogue circuitry analysis
• Familiar with troubleshooting and root cause analysis approaches.
• Knowledge in statistical analysis and programming is a plus.
• Able to convey and present engineering findings with precision and clarity.
• Able to work across functional areas and lead projects.
• Able to prioritize with effective time management in meeting timelines.
• Good to have \xe2\x80\x93 VEE programming, C++/C#, Python, CAD, LTspice
