Who are we looking for?

Are you someone who is passionate to learn about e-commerce, and also product management in a booming e-commerce company? You will get the chance to work on, including, but not limited to:

• Zalora's IT architecture.
• Real life operational scenarios.
• New initiatives (with guidance from Senior Product Manager).
• Product strategy (with guidance from Senior Product Manager).

Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

We are looking to fill the Product Operations position in our Product Management Team, located in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. You will work hand in hand with Tech, Commercial, and Operations to help the company achieve operational excellence.

• Manage and coordinate the complete lifecycle of online store setup, all the way to launch & beyond (including daily operations), achieving operational excellence.

• Perform the necessary setups and testing
• Manage and coordinate pre-launch testing, such as UAT.
• Investigate issues when they arise, find solutions with cross-functional teams (including 3rd-party vendors) to solve problems for various stakeholders.
• Define and streamline routine tasks/processes, such as issue management, troubleshooting etc.

• Communicate effectively to align all relevant stakeholders with the defined processes.
• Provide summary on projects and issues to various stakeholders.

• Subsequently, provide feasible solutions to issues and/or suggestions for improvements.
• Provide insights (supported by data/stats) to help Product Team make informed decisions on product strategy.
• Discover feasibility, gather and write requirements for bug fixes or improvements.
• Create and update documentations, when required.
• Apart from the listed responsibilities, there will also be opportunities to get involved in new initiatives and product strategy, on a case-by-case basis.

Experience, Skills & Qualifications:

• At least 1 year of hands-on technical experience (programming in any language and/or technical experience in any proprietary tool/software).
• Must: Basic understanding of API concept and IT architectural design. Bonus: Programming experience.
• Strong analytical skills.

• Investigate bugs when they arise.
• Strong problem solving skills.

• Manage to solve complex problems.
• Attention to detail, good communication and/or presentation skills.
• Interested in technical analysis, problem solving, providing solutions and improvements to customers.
• Hands-on, and passionate about learning the ins and outs of our brand onboarding process.
• Self-starter, willing to adapt to our agile environment and company culture.

Additional Note: We would like to engage someone who is currently keen to learn about product operations, with strong interest to be a product manager in the future. Curiosity and interest in learning new things are essential to get the most out of this role!
