1. Job Summary
1.1. Mentor of Quality Management and Methods on business processes and controls
1.2. To provide consultation to staffs and managements in terms of Quality Improvement of Products, Process Quality Management and Risk Management
1.3. Develop and review the effectiveness of the Quality Management System
1.4. Drive for cross functional Quality mindset and continual improvements environment
1.5. Deploy and implement Quality Management Method initiatives to meet Plant and Business unit KPI\xe2\x80\x99s
1.6. Ensure internal and external failures cost are monitor and drive for improvement
1.7. Responsible for Product quality improvement, approval and implementation
1.8. Drive continuous improvement and standardization of business processes to improve the efficiency
1.9. Effective manpower planning, Budget planning and control
1.10. Provide technical support to cross functional departments to ensure customer satisfaction

2. Job Scope
2.1. Overall responsibility of QMM Organization & its Management System \xe2\x80\x93 Start Up Projects, Warranty, Customer Complaint management, Problem Solving, Outgoing/In-Process, MSA, Reliability, etc
2.2. Establishing strategies for effective Product and component testing and approval
2.3. Monitor, report of KPI\xe2\x80\x99s in timely manner and establish action plan for improvement
2.4. Ensure closed loop of internal and external audit finding include product safety audit
2.5. Responsible for Quality problem resolution through problem solving skills PSS/8D
2.6. Responsible to train QMM employees in Quality Management and Methods program (eg. Central Directive-CDQ, Guidelines, PT and PgP2 procedures, standards, Q-Tools, PSS, FMEA, N2580 etc.)
2.7. Drive cross functional team for Quality product & process Improvement (eg. Data mining, Q-VSM, elimination of Inspection)
2.8. Regular review with QMM team on improvement progress, provide necessary guidance & support
2.9. Responsible for Plant-to-Plant Quality complaint management, Product transfer on Quality measures between Plant
2.10. Responsible for Quality Reporting eg. Management review, plant Quality Meeting, BU Q-review, etc
2.11. Specific tasks assigned by the supervisor as and when necessary to meet the target or deadline.

Qualifications

3.1. Formal Education
3.1.1 Bachelor Degree in technical discipline (eg. Engineering, Science)
3.1.2 Preferable with professional qualification eg. certified Six Sigma Black Belt, Certified Manager for Quality Organizational and Excellence, Charter Quality Professional
3.2. Exposure and Experience
3.2.1 Minimum of 8 years\xe2\x80\x99 experience in manufacturing environment (Quality, Engineering, Process)
3.2.2 Preferably Certified Lead Assessor/Auditor or System auditor experiences
3.2.3 Knowledge of ISO 9001 Standard, TS16949, Product safety requirement eg. IEC, EN, UL, etc
3.3. Knowledge, Skills and Ability
3.3.1 Ability to apply in-depth knowledge of problem solving technique in solving Quality issues including risk assessment evaluation
3.3.2 Effective communication skills with all levels within the organization, suppliers and customers
3.3.3 Proficient in application of PSS/8D, MSA, DOE, SPC, etc
3.3.4 Ability to work with minimum supervision, giving constructive feedback regularly & self-motivation, monitor & follow up assignments/jobs towards achievement of goals
3.3.5 Able to guide individuals or groups towards task accomplishment besides building the cohesive, cooperative and positive teams.
