• Bosch has been present in Malaysia since 1923, represented by Robert Bosch Sdn Bhd, with offices located in Selangor and Penang. In Malaysia, Bosch has diversified businesses in Mobility Solutions, Industrial Technology, Consumer Goods, and Energy and Building Technology. The company has three manufacturing plants in Penang providing Car Multimedia, Power Tools and Automotive Steering systems. In 2017, Malaysia contributed sales of RM 615 million (127 million euro) and employed more than 2,800 associates.

• Responsible for eBike battery QZ testing, planning & hands on execution, failure analysis, reporting accuracy & escalations when needed, on timely manner.
• Ensure QZ testing is fulfilling the internal standards, external product safety and country specific requirements (if any).
• Responsible to plan and request external testing service, monitor test procedure and setup equipment, review reports quality at extended workbench/external test lab.
• Develop, review and monitor the effectiveness of the QZ test plans and implement improvements where necessary. Perform and ensure test method alignment between test labs within the business unit.
• Support component first article inspection approval (ISIR) and approval on incoming part inspection plan including cost reduction activities.
• Responsible on battery testing equipment, fixtures/tools, maintenance and calibration.
• Responsible on testing financial budget and ordering external service when required.
• To communicate with lead plant business partner and team members locally on issue arise regarding Battery QZ.
• Responsible to update Management on the improvement plan & result from time to time.
• Responsible for work safety, healthy environment and 7S at Lab.

Qualifications

Bachelor\'s Degree or equivalent in Electrical & Electronics Engineering.

• Minimum 2 years of experience in electronic manufacturing environment (Engineering, quality and/or testing).
• Knowledge or experience in cell or battery pack manufacturing and testing will be added advantage.
• Good in technical report writing and include complete data analysis and technical solutions recommendation.
• Experience in electronic component, PCBA, electronic failure analysis is required.
• Knowledge of ISO 9001 Standard, EN60745, Product safety requirement e.g.UL, CSA.
• Able to understand and interpret technical drawing and perform measurement with measuring equipment such as Power Analyzer, Oscilloscope, multimeter, universal tester and etc.
• Hands on experience on failure analysis and problem solving methodology e.g. 5 Why\'s, RCA, fault tree analysis etc.
• Proficiency in spoken and written English and Bahasa Malaysia. Fluent and understand Mandarin and/or German language will be added advantage.
• Ability to apply in-depth knowledge of problem solving technique in solving Quality issues including evaluation of risk assessment.
• Effective communication skills with all levels within the organization, suppliers and customers.
• Proficient in application of DOE, SPC, MSA, APQP and 8D.
• Result oriented, able to work with minimum supervision and self-motived
• Proactive, always provide alternative solution and independent.
• Good collaboration skills, able to work and put in the best effort with peers and functional team.
