Job description: FUNCTIONS / RESPONSABILITIES Job Summary: The Product Safety (Stewardship) Expert will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to ensure the safe and responsible handling, use, and disposal of bio-nutrition & bio-control products in all Asia Countries where the group is operating. The Product Safety (Stewardship) Expert will work closely with our Research and Development, Regulatory Affairs, Marketing, and Sales teams to ensure that our products are developed and marketed in a sustainable and responsible manner. The Product Safety (Stewardship) Expert will also provide technical support and advice to internal teams and external partners on matters related to product stewardship. Key Responsibilities: Create and execute strategies, policies, and procedures for the safe handling, usage, and disposal of bio-nutrition and bio-control products. Ensure that all regulations and industry standards pertaining to product stewardship are followed. Perform risk assessments and develop risk management plans for bio-nutrition and bio-control products. Offer technical support and guidance to internal and external teams regarding product stewardship topics such as product design, packaging, labeling, and end-of-life disposal. Develop and maintain a database of product stewardship information that includes material safety data sheets, product labels, and regulatory information. Develop and deliver training programs on product stewardship to both internal teams and external partners. Collaborate with external stakeholders such as regulators, industry associations, customers, and suppliers to promote responsible product stewardship practices and identify emerging trends and issues. Keep up to date with the latest product stewardship regulations and best practices and advise internal stakeholders accordingly. Establish and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, suppliers, and industry groups. Manage product stewardship incidents, including investigations and corrective actions. Represent the company\'s interests and promote best practices in product stewardship by participating in industry groups and regulatory forums. EDUCATION AND KNOWLEDGE Academic Background 1. Bachelor/ Master\'s degree in chemistry, agriculture, toxicology, biology, environmental science, or a related field. degree preferred. 2. Strong knowledge of relevant Asia regulations and industry standards related to product stewardship. 3. Experience conducting risk assessments and developing risk management plans. 4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with internal teams and external stakeholders. 5. Self-motivated and proactive, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team 6. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills. Experience & Skills 1. Minimum of 8 years of experience in product stewardship, preferably in the bio-nutrition & bio-control industry. 2. Strong knowledge of relevant Asia regulations and industry standards related to product stewardship. 3. Experience conducting risk assessments and developing risk management plans. 4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with internal teams and external stakeholders. 5. Self-motivated and proactive, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team 6. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills. Language skills : Proficient in English (Understanding of Mandarin - Good to have) Nice to Have 1. Ph.D. degree in chemistry, biology, environmental science, or related field 2. Experience in developing and delivering training and guidance on product stewardship matters. 3. The ability to identify emerging issues in product stewardship and sustainability. 4. An understanding of product development and registration 5. Experience developing and implementing environmental, social, and governance (ESG) strategies for bionutrition and biocontrol products. 6. A working knowledge of industry-specific software and tools for product management and regulatory affairs (3E, Labelmaster, etc).
