About Our Client

Our client is one of the largest integrated pharmaceutical groups involved in research & development and manufacturing of generic drugs, OTC medicines, nutraceuticals, logistics & distribution, sales & marketing. The organisation is strategically expanding their international reach.

• Achieve and maximise sales targets and closely monitor business plans to align the products with the right patients through the right customers
• Continuously understand customer needs, territory market landscape, competitors, and product expertise to optimize brand strategy and its execution
• Demonstrate in-depth scientific, therapeutic, product knowledge and a good resource to all internal and external stakeholders through leveraging on literature and supporting sources
• Develop and maintain account management plans to drive growth strategies for key accounts in different sales channels (e.g Hospitals, GPs or pharmacies)
• Keep up-to-date with the latest clinical data provided by the company, and interpret, present, and discuss this data with the healthcare professionals

The Successful Applicant

• Study background: MBBS or Ph.D in Life Sciences; professional qualification majoring in Life Science, Pharmacy, or a related technical field; MBA
• At least 3 years of Pharmaceutical sales experience
• Specialisation in therapeutic areas focusing on specialty care or primary care would be an advantage
• Proactive and effective interpersonal relationship & communication
• Have fluent oral and written communication skills in English
• Based in Penang with the ability to travel
