About Our Client
Our client is one of the largest integrated pharmaceutical groups involved in research & development and manufacturing of generic drugs, OTC medicines, nutraceuticals, logistics & distribution, sales & marketing. The organisation is strategically expanding their international reach.
Achieve and maximise sales targets and closely monitor business plans to align the products with the right patients through the right customers
Continuously understand customer needs, territory market landscape, competitors, and product expertise to optimize brand strategy and its execution
Demonstrate in-depth scientific, therapeutic, product knowledge and a good resource to all internal and external stakeholders through leveraging on literature and supporting sources
Develop and maintain account management plans to drive growth strategies for key accounts in different sales channels (e.g Hospitals, GPs or pharmacies)
Keep up-to-date with the latest clinical data provided by the company, and interpret, present, and discuss this data with the healthcare professionals
The Successful Applicant
Study background: MBBS or Ph.D in Life Sciences; professional qualification majoring in Life Science, Pharmacy, or a related technical field; MBA
At least 3 years of Pharmaceutical sales experience
Specialisation in therapeutic areas focusing on specialty care or primary care would be an advantage
Proactive and effective interpersonal relationship & communication
Have fluent oral and written communication skills in English
Based in Penang with the ability to travel
