Job Description
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES
- Drive Production Plan \xe2\x80\x93 Convert MPS into weekly/daily schedule/plan for shop floor.
- Develops production goals and schedules and distributes production tasks to operation stakeholders. Focus on release plan, build plan and adherence.
- Drive the \xe2\x80\x98Daily Morning Market\xe2\x80\x99 sessions to resolve escalated issues arising from operations and requiring coordination with other departments. Promptly addressing and resolving production issues to minimize delays in production.
- Maintain WIP status (via RFID) so they are up-to-date and accurate information is disseminated throughout the company and to customers. Confer with department supervisors to determine progress of work orders and completion dates.
- Review work orders and accordingly establish priorities and schedules. Effecting changes to production schedules to ensure that production datelines are met. Work with cross functional teams to complete work orders on time and within customer specification.
- Establish, plan and monitor manufacturing loading vs capacity with production team to make sure manpower, work hours, shift pattern and all resources are available to meet production plan
- Review production plans to identify and report potential risks to Operation Manager.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
