A leading electronics manufacturing company, this firm specializes in producing high-quality products for various industries. They are seeking a Production Controller to ensure the efficient flow of materials and smooth production operations.Job Responsibilities:
- Raise Purchase Orders (POs) for materials required by the production department based on system-suggested quantities.
- Follow up on the status of materials to ensure timely delivery to the factory.
- Plan actual production dates based on customer schedules and generate the Master Production Schedule (MPS).
- Coordinate with storekeepers to ensure a smooth flow of materials to the production lines.
- Raise additional POs to account for production attrition.
- Liaise with the Quality Assurance (QA) team regarding Material Review Board (MRB) status.
- Perform any ad-hoc duties as assigned by superiors.
- Diploma or degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field.
- 2-4 years of experience in production planning or material control, ideally within a manufacturing environment.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in ERP or materials management systems.
