Successful candidates will benefit from valuable proven experience that could influence their career decisions and future job opportunities.The Production Engineer Intern will assist with data collection in manufacturing processes, lead or participate in improvement activities, and prepare work instructions. This role supports the development of practical skills and experience in a multifaceted industry environment.What will you be doing?Prepare work instructions and conduct briefings for the operators. Continuously supervise the accuracy and efficiency of the documents.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive process improvement.Collect data, such as machine downtime, and identify opportunities for improvement.Supervise usage and prioritize consumable items.Perform tasks as requested by leaders.Present project conclusions to senior leadership.Work closely with managers to complete specifically identified projects.What will you need to be successful?Candidates should hold a degree in Mechanical Engineering and preferably have previous experience through internships, part-time roles, or apprenticeships. Shown leadership and effective project management experience are preferred.Candidates must possess strong communication skills, including technical writing and the ability to influence others. They should have high learning agility, capable of analyzing and synthesizing data for presentation to senior leaders. Effective communication with cross-functional teams, independent thinking, and the ability to handle tight deadlines and multiple tasks are essential.
