Job Description

Plan production scheduling according to Sales Order, to produce finished goods with the lead times needed to meet production demand. Perform manpower planning and plan machine capacity in accordance with production and commitment needs. Monitor efficiency and quality performance in the production areas. To supervise manufacturing operations to meet production schedule within established company policies, quality, safety standards and management system. To ensure employees understand and comply with ISO and safety standards. Acts as liaison with engineering in releasing new products. Conduct interviews when hiring production operators. Set up schedule for production, assign operator to schedule job and ensure compliance with procedures. To observe, recording, data collection and data analysis of production work performance. Attend and participate in all related scheduled meeting. Provide direct supervision and employment training for the effectiveness of production operation. Maintain training records. Create and maintain incident, accident and counselling reports. Maintains all required safety, job training, and employment records for employees. Designates areas of production floor for storage of product before inspection and maintains the order of these areas. This will include ensuring all work materials are placed in the correct designated area. Report to department manager on departments issues, activities and accomplishments. Communicate timely in the weekly report. Maintain good housekeeping standard in the production area. Contribute to the continuous improvement of products and processes. Perform other duties as assigned. Job Requirement Minimum of a Diploma in supply chain management, business management or related field is preferred. Strong leadership skill. Strong computer skills. Good presentation and communication skill. Good problem solving and analytical skill. Highly developed attention to detail. A strong team player with good planning/interpersonal skill. Ability to meet deadlines. Good command in both spoken and written English and Bahasa Malaysia.
