Report to Head of Production on the production results and any issues related to manufacturing and packaging operations.
To ensure all activities must comply with GMP, SHE and other regulatory requirements.
To lead and assist Head of Production in planning and running production schedule and ensure production target is achieved.
To prepare and revise SOP/WI or any documentation related to manufacturing and packaging operations.
To conduct training on related SOP/WI and prepare training evaluation for production personnel.
To participate in audit/visit by auditor, supplier, customer and external service providers in production.
To report and discuss any engineering issues related to production area, equipment and critical utilities with Engineering Executive, Head of Production and Head of Quality Assurance.
To liaise with Engineering department for any equipment breakdown or critical utilities issues.
To raise and follow up Maintenance Job Request related to production with Engineering department. To verify maintenance job to ensure it is fit for use after rectification.
To review and approve BMR/BPR content to reflect current practices and recommended for improvement.
To ensure manufacturing and packaging activities are carried out according to BMR/BPR and it is promptly and completed before sending for review by Head of Production.
To notify Head of Production for any deviation or non-conformance arise during manufacturing or packaging operations.
To provide input in investigations for any OOS, product failure or complaint related to equipment and process.
To assist Head of Production in planned change control closure and ensure effective implementation.
To participate in internal quality audit, CAPA closure and provide input for improvement.
To coordinate with Validation Executive on qualification and validation execution.
To optimize workforce, maximize utilization of facilities and equipment available in achieving a cost-effective production operation.
To manage production supervisor(s), leader(s) and operators on their working behaviour, punctuality, hygiene practice and working output to ensure a good working environment.
To ensure adherence to company policies. To work as a team to achieve company objectives.
To monitor IPQC activity during manufacturing and packaging operations.
To perform any other tasks as directed by immediate superior.
