The Production Executive is responsible for overseeing daily production activities in the frozen food processing unit, ensuring efficiency, quality, hygiene, and compliance with food safety standards. This role includes managing production schedules, coordinating labour, and maintaining equipment to ensure uninterrupted operations.
Key Responsibilities?
- Execute and monitor daily production plans to meet quantity and quality targets.
- Supervise and coordinate production line workers and shift activities.
- Ensure that food processing, freezing, packaging, and labelling are done as per SOPs.
- Monitor product quality and ensure adherence to HACCP, ISO 22000, and FSSAI guidelines.
- Maintain hygiene and cleanliness on the production floor as per GMP standards.
- Ensure minimum wastage, optimize yields, and suggest process improvements.
- Coordinate with Quality Assurance, Maintenance, and Cold Storage teams to ensure smooth operations.
- Track raw material usage, report shortages, and ensure traceability.
- Document production activities, downtime, and quality deviations.
- Train production staff in hygiene practices, safety protocols, and operating procedures.
Ensure all production equipment is functioning and escalate maintenance issues promptly.
